GET HELP

We're ready to do
what we can

A Home for Everyone in DeKalb offers rapid rehousing, cold weather shelter, and resources for DeKalb Country residents at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

If you need assistance, please email us at ahomeforeveryoneindekalb@gmail.com.

Also, if you live in DeKalb County and need help with any type of housing service, shelter, or resource, you can contact DeKalb County Coordinated Entry at (404) 687-3500, ext. 1.

COLD WEATHER SHELTER/HOTELS FOR FAMILIES

Before COVID, we opened cold weather shelters in churches when the weather fell to 35 degrees and below. Now, because of COVID, we offer cold weather assistance. This occurs in downtown Decatur across from the library at Sycamore House at one pm when the temperature will fall to or below 35 degrees that night. Hotel stays are also available for DeKalb families with children thanks to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and First Baptist of Decatur. Email us for more information.

RAPID REHOUSING

A Home for Everyone in DeKalb assists with housing, either in apartments or in shared housing. At this time, we require a steady income after A Home helps with start-up costs. Contact A Home for an assessment, including background check.
